Meet Keyper, your autonomous industrial inspector

Automate inspections to increase productivity, improve safety, and optimize industrial maintenance.

This is Keyper

Ready to operate in any environment, Keyper is an autonomous 4-legged robot designed to conduct industrial inspections, delivering consistently reliable performance and extending the reach of your team, working collaboratively to improve their safety at
all times.

Through its technology, Keyper can autonomously conduct industrial inspections, navigating multi-story facilities with total autonomy. Its sensors, cameras, microphones, and 3D mapping capabilities provide real-time insights and alerts.

Its lightweight and impact-resistant structural design provides unparalleled mobility and unprecedented agility. Keyper can move up and down stairs and slopes, climb steps, crawl into tight spaces, and keep balance through changing terrains such as gravel.

Our technology was awarded 1st prize at the DARPA Robotics Challenge.

Key Features

Inspection intelligence

Keyper is equipped with cameras and sensors to reconstruct its environment and localize and navigate your industrial sites without the aid of a GPS or the Internet.

Modular, lightweight, and impact-resistant

Keyper's body has been developed to minimize its weight and increase its resistance to impacts. To simplify maintenance and maximize run time, each Keyper leg is detachable.

Event detection

Equipped with sensitive visual, thermal, and acoustic sensors, Keyper detects dangerous conditions in the environment and triggers real-time warnings. It can also read a broad range of digital and analog instruments and indicators.

Team coordination

Keyper can work together to distribute tasks with other Keyper robots to boost efficiency and fully cover large facilities.

Click-to-start

Keyper has been designed to be operated by users without robotics knowledge. You can easily program autonomous monitoring and inspection tasks through intuitive user interfaces.

Keyper’s Intelligence

Routine patrolling inspections through predefined paths
Show your Keyper a route with set milestones and actions, and he will repeat it by itself at any determined frequency.

Unexpected obstacles in the way? No problem! Keyper will detect and find the best path to avoid them while still hitting its objectives.

Teleoperated inspector through real-time images and an intuitive user interface
Control your Keyper remotely through a tablet or laptop, and it will follow your exact instructions.

Remote operator: click to 3D map
Point a site on the map, and Keyper will calculate the most efficient route to get there by itself, avoiding any obstacles in its way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, Keyper can operate without a GPS even in unknown territories, as it maps constantly the environment in 3D to geolocalize itself.

Keyper will still operate without an internet connection, continuing its mission normally. It will not be able to send real-time alerts while offline, but it will do so as soon as connection is restablished.

Keyper includes cameras, zoom, and acoustic and thermal sensors, which enable it to detect any event out of the ordinary, and to report on any data outside of predetermined parameters.

Each Keyper is delivered on a wheeled box, enabling easy transportation. Keyper’s design includes modular legs, which can be removed to further facilitate its transport.

With our Robot as a Service (RaaS) employment model, you can hire your own Keyper and start automating your inspections with no initial investment -the final costs will be adjusted based on each customer’s specific needs with different software applications. Of course, purchase options are also available. Should you want to request more information, please contact us at sales@keybotic.com

Its four legs, agile structure, and robust design allow Keyper to access the same areas a human could get to, including stairs, steps, slopes, and unstable terrains such as gravel -all of them environments in which a wheeled robot could not operate.
Drones are a great resource for aereal patrolling outdoors and they are compatible with a solution like Keyper. They are thought for visual inspections in open-space environments with limitations to work alongside humans. Keyper, on the other hand, has been designed to work autonomously in any environment (indoor and outdoors) and collaboratively with humans.
